At The 2018 Indycar Grand Prix of Long Beach, veteran driver and former ChampCar champion Sebastien Bourdais made a jaw dropping triple overtake on Scott Dixon, Spencer Pigot and Matheus Leist. Bourdais, trying to climb up the order on fresh tyres went on the outside to pass Dixon and Leist and then swerved aggressively to the inside line to complete a triple swoop as we see in the video through multiple camera angles.
Sadly though, Bourdais was penalised for crossing the pit exit line while making the pass, resulting in him having a drive through penalty. Nevertheless, we got to see some incredible racing action and got to know that Sebastien Bourdais is one of the bravest drivers on the Indycar grid.
